Regis is proud to be a Jesuit Catholic University, but by no means are all of its students, staff and faculty Roman Catholic. Its Jesuit tradition especially encourages that all grow within their own spiritual traditions, and it encourages dialogue amongst people with various religious perspectives.

We have several programs in which those with differing spiritual paths come together for prayer, conversation and exploration of various beliefs including:

Common Ground: Weekly interfaith prayer
Coffee Conversations: Sunday evening student-led conversations about varying topics of belief
Brown Bag and Belief: Lunch discussions about issues of faith with guest speakers
Feasts of Faith: Formal meals with education about various faith traditions
We also collaborate with programs and events that come from our Peer Ministry, Religious Studies, Diversity, Interfaith Dialogue and other Ministry programs. Contact University Ministry for current programming.

ABOUT OUR COORDINATOR

Ken Phillips, coordinator, has been with University Ministry for more than 30 years. In addition to coordinating interfaith and non-denominational services and events on campus, he has been leading worship experiences and doing music for Roman Catholic, Episcopal and Presbyterian churches. With an MFA, he is a practicing musician, writer and studio artist. He also holds of Master of Arts in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University.

LOCAL FAITH COMMUNITIES

Regis has many faculty and staff that come from different faith traditions, but our size does not allow the formal employment of ministers from multiple traditions. Some nearby faith communities include the following. Please note that the listing is offered as a service only, and is not a recommendation from Regis University Ministry.
