All members of the Regis University community, its guests and visitors are encouraged to report emergency situations or instances of possible violations of law or University policies to appropriate University authorities. Primary responsibility for responding to such reports rests first with the Department of Campus Safety, located in Main Hall, Suite 129,(303) 458-4122. Reports may also be made to the Office of Student Life in the Student Center, Room 223, (303) 458-4086; Office of Residence Life, through any residence hall staff member; Office of Student Activities, Student Center, Room 214. In the event that an individual wishes to report crimes on a voluntary, confidential basis for the purpose of inclusion of the report in these annual crime statistics, he or she may do so through the Department of Campus Safety’s Online Reporting System (anonymous reporting). Additionally confidential reports can be made to the University Ministry Office in the Student Center, Room 200, (303) 458-4156; or Personal Counseling Services Office in the Coors Life Directions Center, (303) 458-3507. Staff in these programs are encouraged to use their professional judgment, in consultation with their clients, to determine whether such reports can be forwarded to Office of Campus Safety without revealing the name or identity of individuals involved, for purposes of providing accurate annual crime report statistics. Regis community members, guests, and visitors are also encouraged to report situations that may involve criminal activity of any type to the Denver Police Department or other appropriate police agency depending on the location of the incident. The Department of Campus Safety Online Reporting Note: Online reporting is only used for Regis University’s incidents that occur on the Northwest Denver Campus, extension campuses, the online classroom environment, and any other Regis University related events when other facilities are used by Regis departments such as Athletics, Student Activities, Commencement, and Study Abroad. Additionally, reports of incidents that happen off campus, but have the possibility to crossover to our campuses should be reported also; for example, harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking. The Department of Campus Safety’s Online Reporting is a Non-Emergency reporting system. If you have an emergency call Campus Safety (Northwest Denver Campus only) at 303-458-4122 (4122 on a campus phone), or 911 (9-911 on campus phone) if your emergency requires assistance from paramedics, fire, police, or you are at an extension campus. If you don’t want your identity known, the Online Reporting system allows a user to report anonymously if you feel that you want to report a crime, or a threat that needs our attention. The online reporting system is checked every day and feedback will be given, if you desire, or we may contact you for further investigation if you have provided your contact information. All cases using the Department of Campus Safety Online reporting system will be reviewed. To start the online report you must first select the Campus Safety in the drop down menu. If you desire a copy of the report you must provide an email address. When you enter the time as AM or PM the times will automatically be converted to military time (24 hours). Please use the correct address when submitting your report. Ensure you scroll all the way through each page to ensure all information is provided.
