Dean of Student's Office
Diane McSheehy. Diane McSheehy was named Dean of Students in 2014. Prior to leading the Division of Student Life she served as the Director of Student Life, Director of Residence Life Housing and Conference Services, Interim Director of Residence Life and Housing, and Assistant Director of Housing. She has worked in Higher Education for more than 25 years serving at Wake Forest University, the University of North Carolina, and the North Carolina School of the Arts before coming to Regis University. Her educational background includes a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Elon University, an M.A. in English from Wake Forest University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership from The University of North Carolina. She is active in regional associations, CPAC, and national associations, NASPA, ACPA, and JASPA, has served on both regional and national leadership boards and has been recognized both regionally and nationally for her work in Student Affairs.
Chaney Givens. Dr. Chaney Givens received her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in 1990 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She received a Masters of Education degree in Community Counseling from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and a Master of Arts and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver in 2001. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Colorado. Dr. Givens has been employed by Regis University for 15 years and is the Director in the Office of Counseling & Personal Development. She is currently working as the Interim Assistant Dean of Students for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Matthew Sullivan. Matt joined the Dean of Students Office at Regis University in July 2016 as the Director of Student Conduct and Off-Campus Community. Before coming to Regis, Matt served as the Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Title IX Investigator at the University of Washington. Matt also spent three years working in student conduct at fellow Jesuit institution, Creighton University, and has held positions in student conduct and residence life at the University of Colorado Denver, Colorado College, and Oklahoma State University. Matt is active in the Association for Student Conduct Administration, most recently serving as Chair of the 2016 Annual Conference and as Chair of the 2016 Sexual Misconduct Institute. Matt earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership Studies, with an emphasis in College Student Development, from Oklahoma State University and Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration Comprehensive from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Stephanie Hicks. Stephanie Hicks received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Regis University. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Organizational Leadership. She has been with Regis since 2012 and with the Dean of Students Office as Assistant to the Dean since 2016.
Patti DelliVeneri. Patti received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Catholic Studies and Adult Spirituality from Regis University and is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society. She has worked at Regis University for over 8 years in several positions, including Admissions, the RHCHP Simulation Lab, as well as the Dean of Students Office. Prior to working at Regis University, Patti worked at Regis Jesuit High School, where she served as Office Manager for the Girls Division Counseling Department. Her commitment to the Jesuit mission has its roots at Regis Jesuit, where she served on committees dedicated to finding ways to promote and extend the mission to all students and staff.
