The Regis University Technology Training Center offers training programs that increase the Regis University community’s understanding and use of technology. These programs provide, refresh, and promote core technology skills that enhance productivity and effectiveness at Regis University.

The Regis University Technology Training Center offers free training programs, both face-to-face and online, for faculty, staff and students. We want to meet the training needs of busy adults and students, reach users of all skill levels, and remove the intimidation of learning new technology.

Formats include:

Just-in-Time learning – quick reference guides, tutorials, videos on demand.
Workshops – hands-on, "show me how" step-by-step lessons in a computer lab within an hour.
Online – the Regis Learns site (http://regislearns.regis.edu), self-paced tutorials and links to other training resources.

Course Descriptions 

Zoom 

Zoom is a video conferencing and web conferencing tool. Learn about this easy-to-use tool. A microphone and computer are the minimum tools you need but you may also use a webcam as well.

Office 365/OneDrive 

Office 365 (sometimes referred to O365) is Regis University's Online Microsoft Suite.  OneDrive for Business is part of Office 365, it is similar to Dropbox.  Learn about accessing the Office Web Apps. Office 365 is easy to use, and allows you to work on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files using a web browser and saving them in the cloud. No software download is necessary.

Office Mix 

Office Mix is an add-on to Microsoft PowerPoint 2013. Learn how to turn you PowerPoint presentations into interactive videos by adding audio, video, navigation, quizzes, and polling. 

Office Mix Conversion

Office Mix Conversion is designed to help faculty convert their Adobe Presenter presentations to Office Mix. This course does not cover the introduction to Office Mix.

Best Practices for Presentations 

We all do presentations using PowerPoint - faculty, staff, and students. This is a workshop that offers good advice on designing strong presentation templates, use of color and images, and tips for leaving a good impression on your audience.

Faculty, students, and staff may access Regis Learns, our online learning platform for all of Regis University's training needs. You will find online tutorials for a variety of topics including Office 365/OneDrive, Quick Reference Guides, and Classroom Technology tutorials for every classroom and conference room on every campus, and more.
