Timeline for students who plan to study abroad as juniors during Fall 2018 or Spring 2019

By Sept. 10, 2017:
Meet with your intended major advisor (or academic advisor if undecided) to discuss your interest in study abroad and determine the best semester (fall or spring) for your major or minor course sequence.

- Wednesday, September 20: S/A Info Session, Loyola 33, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

- Wednesday, October 4: S/A Info Session, Clarke 139, Noon to 1 p.m.

- Friday, October 27: S/A Info Session, Clarke 139, Noon to 1:30 p.m.


On Sept. 13, 2017:
Attend the Study Abroad Fair from 11-1 p.m. on the Quad

Sept. 20, 2017: 
Info Session, 4-5 p.m. 

By Oct. 1, 2017:
If you are thinking about going abroad in the Fall 2019, plan to register for RCC 440A for the Spring of 2018

On Oct. 4, 2017:
Info Session, 12-1 p.m 

By Oct. 10, 2017:
Open your study abroad application. Even if you are undecided about your program choices, you should open an application by today. Choose any program (doesn’t matter which; you can change your mind later) on travelapplication.regis.edu and click “APPLY NOW.”  The application features an essay section in which you will rank your top 3 program choices. You can edit this essay at any time before the deadline. No matter which program you use to open the application, we’ll go by the preferences you indicate in your essay. 

Oct. 27, 2017:
Info Session, 12-1 p.m. 

By Nov. 1, 2017:
Deadline to open an application.* 

By Nov. 15, 2017:
Deadline to ask your advisor to sign your completed Course Planning Worksheet.*
Deadline to ask a faculty member who knows you well for a letter of recommendation to study abroad.*

By Nov. 27-30, 2017:
Email oge@regis.edu to sign up for an appointment or drop in to the Office of Global Education to address any last-minute questions about your study abroad application.

By Dec. 1, 2017 (before midnight):
Deadline to submit applications to study abroad during Fall 2018 and Spring 2019. If you’re planning on studying abroad in Fall 2018, register for RCC 440A during the Spring 2018 semester.

*strongly suggested deadlines

Note: Late applications will not be accepted for Fall 2018 study abroad. Late applications for Spring 2019 study abroad will be considered if study abroad placement openings remain and students submit applications by March 15, 2018.

By Nov. 20, 2017:
Deadline (suggested) to ask your advisor to sign your completed Intent to Study Abroad form.

By Dec. 1, 2017 (before midnight):
Deadline to submit your Letter of Intent form to smontagn@regis.edu

By March 15, 2018:
Spring 2019 study abroad application deadline for pre-nursing majors who submitted a Letter of Intent Form by December 1, 2017
Applications submitted by pre-nursing majors who did not submit a Letter of Intent Form by December 1, 2017 will be accepted but will be considered late.
