This year we’re continuing to combine two great long-standing Regis traditions, Athletic Legacy Weekend and Family Weekend, to bring families, students, student athletes and alumnus together for a weekend of great fun and connection. Whether your family just joined the Regis family or have been part of it for generations, we want you to enjoy the campus and the opportunity to spend some quality time with your student in the beauty of a Colorado fall. The fun kicks off with Thursday Thrills - a regular and very popular late night event on campus - featuring the entertainment of comedic magicians Lauro Castillo, Andre Enchave and Tam Vo. Friday, Sept. 23 Hospitality check-in — Student Center, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Bring Your Parent to Class Day Men’s Soccer — Regis soccer field, 2 p.m. Tailgate — Free with admission to athletic event, 2 - 4 p.m. RSVP requested Reception and Remarks with Fr. And if you’re so inclined you can join us for a tailgate between soccer games! We’ll have a reception with Regis University President Fr. John Fitzgibbons SJ., and wrap up the evening with a Brushes and Beverages night in Walkers Pub. We will start off the day with a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the Leadership Programs Clean Water trip to Nicaragua, followed by the Father Charlie Shelton Golf Tournament, now in its 3rd year, which honors the late “Padre” and his commitment to mentoring student-athletes. As the former chaplain to the baseball and men’s soccer teams, the proceeds from the tournament go towards an endowed scholarship in the name of Father Shelton. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a service opportunity with the Fr. Woody program, go on a hike or standup paddleboard with the Outdoor Adventure Program, enjoy free burgers and brats on the quad, watch a rugby game, and tailgate before the volleyball game against Chadron State. Cap your day off by bringing the whole family to Casino Night after the match and support our student athletes and their programs. Try your hand at table games and enjoy music, food, a cash bar and win great prizes! Sunday, Sept 25 • Hall of Fame Banquet/Brunch — Mountain View Room,10:30 a.m. $30, RSVP required • Women’s Soccer — Regis Soccer Field, 1 p.m. • Mass — St. John Francis Regis Chapel, 9 a.m. • Boulder Trip — Bus picks up from Regis Field House, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. $15, RSVP Required On Sunday, we’ll round off the weekend with Mass in the Chapel and your choice of attending a Hall of Fame brunch with the Athletic Program, a hike and brunch to Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder and a women’s soccer game.
