The Pub
Walker's is an on campus pub with a pool table, shuffle board, and several other amenities for students. Proposed in 2009 and finished in the Spring of 2011, Walkers Pub was financed and established by a RUSGA initiative. Named after John Brisben Walker – the land developer who donated the property that the University resides on – Walker’s has become a central gathering space for students to relax, pre-game for athletic events, catch a local band, and sponsor club and organizational events. Some of the most popular events include Brushes and Beverages nights, Geeks Who Drink trivia nights, Walkers Running Club, and Friday’s at 4 p.m.
