Sol joined the Regis library faculty in 2016 as a cataloging librarian. She started her career as a medical records librarian for a medical malpractice law firm and, upon graduating from UNT, began her work in libraries as a supervisor in interlibrary loan at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Delia Montes-Gallo Medical Library. She then transitioned to a cataloging librarian at The University of Texas at El Paso, where she cataloged non-book material, and was the subject specialist for psychology and provided various library services such as reference and instruction. She is currently the treasurer for the REFORMA Educational Foundation. Sol has presented at professional conferences on continuing education strategies for library staff and on effectively using multicultural resources for children at public libraries or schools.
