Regis University's Systems Engineering graduate certificate provides students with the understanding of engineering principles, network systems, and a range of current technologies used when designing, implementing and managing a secure and robust enterprise information infrastructure used to support e-commerce and other mission critical enterprise applications.

Our Systems Engineering graduate certificate program equips students to understand and use:

  • Current best practice network architectures, standards and protocols
  • Current best practice network design and implementation processes
  • Software defined networks (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV)
  • Virtualized server and storage systems, including hosted and in-house cloud services
  • High availability and disaster recovery systems
  • Network and storage encryption systems
  • Authentication, authorization, and auditing (AAA) capabilities
  • Information assurance models that apply to the security of a system's database and application services

Graduates of the Systems Engineering certificate program are sought after technology professionals with the skills to integrate new networks (hardware, software, LAN, WAN) with legacy systems, develop new custom applications, oversee the management of systems support services and coordinate new IT initiatives within all departments of an organization.

Upon completion of this certificate, you will master the service orientation architecture required to design, build and implement data center operations from data hosting best practices to application serving on the web.
