What does the Dual Language Campus offer?
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees for adults that allow them to earn a degree in a shorter period of time under an accelerated education model, while gaining proficiency in English and Spanish.
How does a student complete a college degree in an accelerated manner?
Courses are offered in 5- or 8-week sessions. Classes meet for four hours, once a week on evenings or weekends. This allows students to take more courses each semester.
How does the dual language component work?
The program is based on a 50/50 module in which languages are alternated every week. Students have access to a study guide detailing class activities and the language to be used.
Are my language skills at the required level to begin a bilingual degree?
Every student must take a placement test for both languages as part of the registration process. Depending on test results, students may need immersion or development courses to build the necessary language skills. Additionally, students have access to a language lab and e-Lab designed to improve skills both in English and Spanish.
How long will it take for me to complete a degree?
The time needed to complete a program depends on a student’s availability and the number of credits taken each semester.
What are the deadlines for registration?
The dual language accelerated program offers admissions on a continuous basis. This means that you may apply for the program at any time.
Can I transfer credits/courses from other universities?
Credits/courses from recognized national and international universities are accepted. The University will evaluate academic credentials to determine what courses may transfer. The evaluation of academic credentials is free of charge.
Is financial assistance available?
Regis students may obtain financial aid through scholarships and student loans, if they qualify. We also accept tuition reimbursement benefits provided by employers.
