CPS Makes it Easy to Find Your Balance
At Regis University's College for Professional Studies (CPS), you will discover that finding the right balance between your educational, professional and personal responsibilities is possible and rewarding. We offer busy professionals learning and scheduling options designed to meet their needs for flexibility.
Regis CPS accelerated programs are delivered in five- or eight-week terms that start six times per year. This means you can begin earning your degree when you are ready, and complete it in a timeframe that works for you. And, you can get your degree in a variety of learning formats: campus-based, online, or Directed Study.
You may wish to complete your studies in only one learning format, or combine several that fit your personal needs and learning style. Because Regis CPS provides you with a variety of learning format options, it's not so difficult to fit your studies into your busy schedule.
For optimal course availability, students may be required to complete their course work online or at alternate campus locations.

Learning Formats
Campus-Based
If you live or work near one of the Regis University's multiple Colorado campuses and prefer a on-campus setting, this is the format for you. Most classroom-based courses meet one evening per week from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Some campuses also offer weekend courses. Availability of courses varies according to campus location and subject.
Online Learning
Regis CPS offers one of the leading online continuing education programs in the country. Online learning programs offer you flexibility and convenience to study and interact online from home or on the road. Online degree courses are offered in five- or eight-week accelerated terms and run concurrently with classroom courses. Online degree courses allow you to read, do research and interact with your facilitator and other students worldwide. The online degree format adheres to a structured schedule with assignments due weekly. Online courses are not self-paced, but do allow flexibility as far as when and where you study. Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU)
The Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU), of which CPS is a member, offers a variety of online courses from member schools. This program enables you to incorporate online courses into your degree program that are not currently available from Regis University.
- OCICU courses may be taken by students with the permission of their adviser to meet CPS degree requirements.
- Students register as Regis CPS students and pay the current Regis tuition rate for online courses.
- Courses may be applied toward a Regis degree and are financial aid eligible.
Directed Study
Directed Study is for motivated, focused students who prefer to work independently, who travel frequently or who have special interests they wish to pursue. Directed Study allows you to design your own eight-week courses with the aid of your adviser and course consultants. Your adviser will work with you to develop your degree plan and discuss Directed Study course work options (if your degree is available in this format.)
