FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Use this link to apply online and electronically submit this form. By filling out this application, you become eligible for federal, state, and institutional grants, loans, student employment and scholarships.

FAFSA Tutorial
"Seven Easy Steps to the FAFSA, A Student's Guide to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid" is a comprehensive guide to help all students and their parents complete the FAFSA.

General Loan Information
Use this site to learn the difference between student loans, parent loans and private (alternative) loans. This site also gives information on loan consolidation.

IRS Data Retrieval Tutorial 
You can import your tax information to your FAFSA, saving time and increasing accuracy. Using the IRS Data Retrieval may also eliminate the need for further documentation.

Federal Loan Program
This site provides information on federal student loans, Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note.

Loan Payments
This site helps you calculate the amount of your monthly loan payments based on the size of your loan and what annual salary you will need to meet those payments.

National Student Loan Database
Use this site to make inquiries about Title IV loans and Pell Grants. You can also check your individual account if you have federal student loans.

ScienceAAAS
Resource to find funds for training in the biomedical sciences and undergraduate science education. Through the support of AAAS, this service is completely free.

National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA)
Financial aid information

College advice, college admission applications, aid opportunities, Colorado Opportunity Fund information, scholarships, apply online for admission, college comparisons.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau provides tools to help students make good decisions about student loans and to investigate any issues encountered with borrowing private student loans. An online tool, the Student Debt Repayment Assistant, helps navigate student loan repayment options. Loan information is also available at Know Before You Owe: student loans to improve the student loan decisions. Staff can be contacted at 855-411-2372

English-Spanish Glossary of Student Financial Aid and Postsecondary Education
The glossary is intended to be used as a common reference by secondary school administrators, postsecondary admissions advisors, financial aid and outreach professionals, and others providing Spanish-speaking families and students with information related to going to and paying for college. TG also has available the online searchable version.

Federal Student Guide
This site offers a comprehensive resource guide to student financial aid from the U.S. Department of Education including resources on preparing for college or career school, applying for aid, consumer protection and more available through the Department's Federal Student Aid office.

This website shows how much aid you may be eligible for based on your family's income (Estimated Family Contribution or EFC).

Financial Aid Calculators
This site provides helpful ways to understand college costs based on the years you expect to attend, how much should be saved for higher education, how trust funds and life insurance may help, and how college loans work.
