Welcome Pierce College Students and Staff!
Through the Associate's to Bachelor's® Program at Regis University College for Professional Studies (CPS), Pierce College's partnership with Regis ensures that students have a clear path that will lead them beyond the success of their Associate's degree directly into a Bachelor's degree program. Pierce College students can transfer their Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.), Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree by completing a third year of coursework at Pierce College and their final year (approximately 30 credit hours) of coursework at Regis. Students can obtain a swift, unofficial transcript evaluation of their previous coursework within 48 hours by e-mailing AtoB@Regis.edu.
An Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree is a technical or vocational credential. Students who are earning any A.A.S. degree have two pathways for a baccalaureate degree: a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.). If you want to earn a B.S., credits from a regionally accredited community college will be counted toward your core courses, foundational courses and elective requirements. You must complete the Technical Occupational Specialty (TOS) credits as indicated on the transfer guide prior to application in order for your technical/vocational credits to be applied toward degree requirements. A student can then be concurrently enrolled to finish the 60-90 credits at the community college while starting on their bachelor's degree at Regis. If you want to earn a B.A.S., you must earn the A.A.S. degree before applying to Regis because of the TOS credit transfer policy.
A.A. or A.S.
An Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree is a two-year course of study that covers the core materials needed to complete the first two years of a four-year bachelor degree.
Additionally, required course work, transferability of courses specific to your own community college, and credits accepted are detailed in each of the degree-specific transfer guides below. Select your degree of choice to access your transfer guide.
