One Less Car

Bike to Work Day is June 22. Hosted by the Regis University Sustainability Committee, staff and faculty are encouraged to grab a bike and helmet and find the safest route to Regis.

Those interested should sign up at biketoworkday.us and join the Regis University team. When registering participants can find breakfast stations on his or her route and learn about tips for bicycle commuting.

After registering, people will receive an email from organizer Nicole Marcisz with details on a noon barbecue for those who participate.

The benefits of biking are endless. It reduces your carbon footprint and saves you money. It also reduces stress, prevents leading causes of death and disability, and adds exercise into a busy schedule.

For those that can’t bike to work, Regis Neighborhood Health will host a lunchtime walk. Those interested should meet in front of Main Hall at 12:15 p.m. Email Alice Davis with any questions.
