Support students as they study the impact of technology in our digital world
In fall 2014, the College of Computer & Information Sciences brought together degrees from the College of Professional Studies, the Computer Science program in Regis College, and the Health Information Management program in the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions to engage students in the understanding of technology in our digital world.
As the need for jobs in the computer and information technology field quickly expands, Regis students will be ready to take on complex technological challenges while becoming leaders in their field. These programs combine global engagement, entrepreneurial techniques and experiential learning to create a portfolio of transferable skills that set Regis graduates apart.
Your gift to the College of Computer & Information Sciences Excellence Fund supports an innovative computer and information sciences education that promotes industry engagement, skill development and inspires action for the common good.
In the past year, accomplishments in the College included:
- Impacting cybersecurity in Colorado and nation-wide by working with the Colorado National Guard and the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition through a grant from the National Security Agency.
- Adding an undergraduate academic certificate program, Full Stack, to address the need for more software developers.
- Expanding community engagement through programs like Regis CoderDojo and CyberGirls and creating partnerships with the Colorado Technology Association.
