Kathleen O’Brien, LHC ’61 For me, Regis University embodies progress and innovation. After I visited the Northwest Denver campus a few years ago, I saw what Regis truly had to offer for its students through the tradition of a values-based education that is representative of the same educational experience I had at Loretto Heights College. It was meaningful to me to see the spirit of my alma mater living on through the Loretto Heights School of Nursing in the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. Because of this, I was compelled to start giving back financially by making a pledge for five years at the President’s Council level to fund an annual scholarship. I support Regis University to carry on the tradition of a quality education and to give someone else the academic opportunity I had. The mission of service means we need to support others in the pursuit of their dreams so they can become who they aspire to be in the world. It’s my hope that this gift aids the University in producing outstanding graduates with an exceptional future. Kathleen is one of the nearly 4,400 Regis University donors who made contributions and commitments in 2013-14 totaling $6.2 million. THANK YOU, Kathleen and every member of the Regis community who gives back to Regis services, programs, scholarships and students each year.
