Regis University is a proud partner with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) for the Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) Program.  In support of helping airmen who have completed their CCAF associate’s degree complete their bachelor’s degree, CCAF offers enlisted Air Force members alternatives to complete bachelor’s degree requirements.

Regis University’s Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree is the program approved as part of the AU-ABC (Category I). The Program Plan File (PPF) is attached for specific information. CCAF AAS graduates will complete no more than 60 semester hours to complete this degree. Please note that you must meet eligibility requirements for credits transferred from CCAF to Regis University.

Regis University’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree (BAS) enhances professional development for community college transfer students earning an Associate of Applied Science degree, while honing their leadership skills to succeed in an array of career fields from management, counseling and social services, government, criminal justice and security. Four specializations are available within the BAS degree at Regis:

  • Management
  • Homeland Security
  • Interdisciplinary Studies
  • Community Interpreting (Communications focus)

The PPF is a general guideline and the final determination of specific credit awarded rests with the Office of the Registrar. 

The BAS degree currently links to all current CCAF AAS degrees, as part of AU-ABC.

Class Format: Classes are offered online and on campus in an 8-week accelerated format.

Start Dates: Classes start multiple times per year (August, October, January, March, May, July).

The BS in Computer Information Systems, BS in Computer Science, and BS in Information Technology are all accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.

BS Computer Information Systems

Regis University’s BS in Computer Information Systems enhances professional development for community college transfer students earning an Associate of Applied Science degree. Computer information systems (CIS) graduates are tasked with solving some of the world’s biggest challenges, like enterprise, data analytics, business process management and software development. Our program is one of the few ABET-certified, fully-online and ground-based programs available in the U.S. and will prepare you for an important role with responsibilities that go way beyond programming.

BS in Computer Science

As the only institution in the country whose Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree is both accredited by ABET and also can be earned completely online, Regis University’s BS in Computer Science degree empowers students to expertly design and implement computational solutions that tackle the world’s most challenging social, political, environmental, scientific, medical, economic, and business problems in a socially just manner. The BS in Computer Science degree provides the greatest breadth and depth of experience related to software development, which includes the ability to utilize multiple programming languages, paradigms, and platforms when implementing the computational solutions they design.

BS in Information Technology

Regis University’s BS in Information Technology (IT) degree will give you the skills to implement and protect networks, administer enterprise systems, manage enterprise security and develop a strong professional career in information technology. Our program provides you with an extensive knowledge of computer systems design and management. Core subject areas include LANs, WANs, mobile, and enterprise networks as well as web applications.

This Bachelor of Science in Information Technology file is a general guideline and the final determination of specific credit awarded rests with the Office of the Registrar.

Class Format: Classes are offered online and on campus in an 8-week accelerated format.

Start Dates: Classes start multiple times per year (August, October, January, March, May, July).


As an active member of the United States Armed Forces, you are eligible for the following preferred tuition at Regis:

Undergraduate Active Duty Military Students
Flat reduced tuition rate of $275 per credit hour.

Who Qualifies?
All AU-ABC active duty students working towards an undergraduate degree at Regis University in the BAS or BS CIS program.

Application Process:

1. Complete the online undergraduate application

2. Your application fee is waived. Enter waiver code RUMIL on the application when payment is requested.

3. Complete the personal statement essay. A short personal statement is required to be considered for admission. Download a copy of the personal statement guidelines.
4. Request official transcripts from accredited institutions that you have previously attended. Download the transcript request form. Official transcripts are those that come directly from one college or university to the Regis University Office of Admissions. The address can be found below.
5. Additional admission requirements apply to international students who are non-U.S. citizens. All courses are taught in English. You must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Please remember: Applications that are incomplete and/or missing information cannot be processed.

Applications are due a minimum of two weeks prior to desired start date. Start dates include August, October, January, March, May, and July. Visit the academic calendar to view specific start dates.
