Yellow Ribbon Program Tuition Benefits Regis University is a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program), a provision of the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. The Yellow Ribbon Program enables institutions like Regis to enter into an agreement with the Veterans Administration (VA) to provide tuition assistance for expenses that exceed the highest public in-state tuition rate (for online programs and Colorado campus-based programs the maximum allowable tuition is $529.50 per credit hour). Eligible veterans can accept these benefits, or they can transfer their benefits to their spouses and/or dependents. The Yellow Ribbon Program helps Regis provide undergraduate and graduate-level education to soldiers who served after 9/11. If tuition expenses exceed the 2015-16 cap of $20,235.02, the Yellow Ribbon Program will provide additional funding to use toward tuition. For eligible undergraduate and graduate students pursuing select accelerated or online programs through the College of Business & Economics, the College of Computer and Information Sciences, and the College of Contemporary Liberal Studies, Regis University will provide an additional $1,500 per year, which the Yellow Ribbon Program will match. This provides students a total of $26,235.02 to use toward tuition for the entire academic year. Tuition varies by degree; total credit hours earned under tuition benefit vary as well. For help calculating your own expected tuition costs, contact a Regis enrollment counselor at 800.944.7667. Veterans who are not eligible for 100% of the Post 9/11 GI Bill need to contact a VA representative to determine the education benefits he/she is eligible for.
