Regis University Helps Veterans Succeed with Top Ranked Online Educational Programs

For veterans transitioning into college, diving back into the world of academia can be a challenge. But at Regis University, veterans and active service members are succeeding with their educational goals through top ranked online programs and services dedicated to helping vets.

U.S. News and World Report’s second annual rankings of the Best Online Programs for Veterans listed Regis as #5 Best Online Graduate Computer Information Technology Programs for Veterans; #10 Best Online Graduate Nursing Programs for Veterans; and #13 Best Online Graduate Education Programs for Veterans. Overall, the university is ranked #24 for best online undergraduate program. Only one-fifth of online degree programs (197 out of 998) that reported data to U.S. News in these disciplines are included in the 2014 Best Online Programs for Veterans rankings.

Many veterans and active-duty service members benefit most from distance education that is affordable, accessible and reputable. Regis also supports veterans and activity duty personnel through its Military and Veteran Resource Centers at its Regis’ North Denver (Lowell) and Colorado Springs campuses. The centers offer guidance in applying for benefits, mental health support, and tutoring and financial aid assistance. The center also provides camaraderie, comfort and community.
