A Grand Gesture Delivered to Regis University on Friday, Sept. 26

September 26, 2014

It’s not every day somebody gives you a concert grand piano. But that is exactly what’s happening Friday, Sept. 26 (2-4 pm) at Regis University. Peter Simon, global concert pianist and Denver native who attended Denver Public Schools, is donating his concert grant piano to the school to support its budding/growing music program. Simon’s daughter, Chloe, earned her bachelor’s at Regis University.

Simon is looking forward to playing the first concert on the piano in the Claver Recital Hall on Regis University’s main campus Monday night, 7:30 p.m. (Sept. 29). Simon describes himself as a concert pianist/humorist who performs much in the spirit of renowned performer Victor Borge. His unique blend of humor and music continue to entertain audiences around the world.

Tickets are still available for Monday evening’s performance.
