Regis to kick off Christmas season with tree lighting, other fun Dec. 1

Regis University will kick off the holiday season with its annual tree lighting ceremony Thursday, Dec. 1, and the community is invited.

The free festivities, organized by the Regis University Student Government Association, get underway at 5 p.m. on the Boettcher Commons (The Quad) on the University’s Northwest Denver Campus, 3333 Regis Blvd. Parking will be free on campus at that time. After the traditional lighting, stay for some hot chocolate and other refreshments, gingerbread house making, an ice skating rink and other fun.
