University is among top ranked in nation for veterans, best value

Regis University was ranked 17th in the nation among universities that are best for veterans, and 28th for Best Value Schools, in the recently released U.S. News & World Report college rankings.

Colorado’s Jesuit university also ranked 27th among the best regional universities in the western United States. It has made the list for 22 consecutive years.

U.S. News creates its regional rankings by evaluating several widely accepted indicators of excellence, including graduation and retention rates, academic reputation and financial resources, among others.

Online programs also are grabbing attention. The University ranked 29th among Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice Programs. Regis also ranked for online programs in the following categories: graduate education, bachelor’s programs, graduate nursing, graduate computer information technology programs, graduate business programs and MBA programs.
