Regis Junior Southpaw Steven Brault Drafted in 11th Round of MLB Draft by Baltimore Orioles Jeremy Phillips | June 10, 2013 Denver, Colo.: Regis junior left-hand pitcher Steven Brault was drafted today in the first-year major league baseball draft today. Brault, from El Cajon, Calif., was drafted in the 11th round by the Baltimore Orioles. Brault was the number 339 pick overall, the second highest pick for a Ranger behind Tim Karns who was also drafted in the 11th round and ironically by the Baltimore Orioles and was the 315th overall pick 20 years ago in 1993. This past spring, Brault, who also played in the outfield was a Third Team All-American as well as a First Team All-RMAC selection at both pitcher and outfield. Other big name major leaguers who have been drafted in the 11th round are: Brad Hawpe, Dan Uggla, Corey Hart, and Kevin Millwood just to name a few.
