Tim Lewis earns RMAC Summit Award for baseball Jeremy Phillips | May 09, 2013 Senior Tim Lewis was named the recipient of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Summit Award which is named to the student-athlete with the highest grade point average of all six teams competing at the RMAC Baseball Championship. Lewis holds a 3.96 grade point average in business management. A catcher, Lewis is hitting .364 on the season and has had many clutch pinch-hit at bats. A Rhodes Scholar nominee, Lewis recently earned RMAC All-Academic as well as the prestigious Regis University Crest Club Student-Athlete of the Year. This is the inaugural season of the Summit Award, which mirrors the NCAAs Elite 89 award. Lewis is the fourth Ranger to be bestowed the honor joining, Gina Morgan (Volleyball), Adam Tormoehlen (Men's Soccer) and Lauren Policky-Baldauf (Women's Cross Country).
