Integrates teaching and learning theories for educating individuals and populations in clinical and academic settings through the exploration of innovative practices in health care and nursing educational environments.

NR 647: Curriculum Development

Focus on elements of curriculum development and educational activities in health care education including: evidence-based assessment, program content analysis, curriculum design and implementation, continuing professional education, and evaluation strategies.

NR 648: Evaluation Methods in Health Care Education

Use a variety of strategies to assess and evaluate all domains of learning and outcomes in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings that reflect contemporary trends in the health care environment.

How to Apply

To apply to the Health Care Education graduate certificate program, you will need:

  • Completed online application
  • Completion of, or current enrollment in, an NLN or AACN-CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Official degree-bearing transcripts from a completed M.S. in Nursing program, or transcripts from an in-progress M.S. in Nursing program.
  • Current resume

The first step in the application process is to contact an admissions counselor, who can evaluate your prior learning credit, provide information regarding financial aid and tuition assistance and help you through the entire application process.

Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year: $785 per credit hour

Rolling Admissions

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. It is recommended you apply to this program at least 4 weeks prior to your desired start date.
