Dr. Rebecca Koenigberg teaches Applied Voice and Voice Class at Regis University. She also works in both the Music Department and Theater Department at Metropolitan State University, where she enjoys a busy voice studio roster, including Assistant Music Director their recent production of Grease.

A national finalist in the Metropolitan Opera auditions, Koenigberg presents a number of recitals throughout the year. She is currently an Artist in Residence at the Denver School of the Arts. While an assistant professor of music at Mississippi State University, Koenigberg performed regularly with the Meridian Symphony. She has also been a finalist in the San Francisco Opera competition, the Eleanor Lieber Awards, and the Young Patronesses of the Opera Competition in Miami. She has sung with Opera Colorado, Skylight Opera, Ohio Light Opera, Chicago Pocket Opera, New England Lyric Light Opera, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Arapahoe Philharmonic, and the Longmont Symphony Orchestra. She is currently a member of the National Association for Teachers of Singing.

Dr. Koenigberg’s students have gone on to perform in many national and international performing venues including, I sing Beijing, Central City Opera, National NATS Competition, and American Idol top 12.

Community Service & Involvement

Dr. Koenigberg is actively involved in community service at Montview Presbyterian Church and serves as the chair of the Children’s Committee, this summer expanding into a Summer Sacred Art Camp which facilitates in providing children exposure to a variety of music and religion from around the globe.
