Habitat Collegiate Challenge in Alamogordo, New Mexico
Come join us as we blaze a new trail with Habitat for Humanity in beautiful Alamogordo, New Mexico. Spend your spring break living the Jesuit tradition of “men and women in service of others”, and having a bit of fun on the side. The community we will serve is home to many low-income families living in sub-standard trailer housing. In addition to work, we will also have the opportunity to explore White Sands National Monument, the International Space Hall of Fame, and all the amazing food and culture New Mexico has to offer.
What to Expect
- Physical labor including all aspects of house building
- 9.5 hour drive in a van
- Minimal yet comfortable lodging at the National Guard Armory
- An opportunity to bond with your peers in a community setting

Habitat Collegiate Challenge in Wailuku, Hawaii
Spend your spring break building lasting friendships and serving others in Maui, Hawaii! Build houses with Habitat for Humanity for five days, live in a community church, and experience all that the majestic Hawaiian evenings have to offer! We are an enthusiastic, hard-working group eager to work hard in paradise.

University Ministry Urban Plunge, an Experience of Homelessness: Denver, CO
This 24 hour retreat is the perfect option for those who wish to participate in an alternative spring break trip but don’t necessarily have the time or money to commit to a full week. Spend the day interacting with individuals experiencing homelessness, and then in the evening, take some time for reflection and relationship building while we sleep in the basement of a church. An ‘Urban Plunge’ is a program designed to challenge students to view the world through a lens that is radically different than their own by examining what it’s like to live in the greater Denver area as a person who is homeless. Through thoughtful mentorship, students are challenged to interact with their community in new ways. By developing personal relationships with individuals who are currently homeless and those who work with the homeless population on a regular basis students can begin to see these common places in their city from a new perspective.

Habitat Collegiate Challenge: West Palm Beach, Florida
Interested in having fun on alternative break while on a mission to build safe, affordable homes? Build homes within a few miles from the beach! There is always something fun to do after working hard all day, whether it is the beach or exploring the sunny city, we will have fun in South Florida!

- 5 days of serving to a low income area in South Florida near the beach
- Food onsite each day, including a Latin "Welcome to Florida" dinner the first evening
- Opportunities to visit the beach and the local area

- A bonding experience with other Regis students to create unique and exciting memories

Habitat for Humanity: Denver, Colorado
Serve our Regis community and stay in town this spring break for a local Habitat for Humanity experience. There are people in Denver who need our help to build them a home. Be a part of all aspects of what Habitat has to offer. Two days on a build site at the end of the week. Work in the Habitat ReStores and get the opportunity to work on a house deconstruction. At night, after a full work day, hang out in the city of Denver with your group, exploring what our wonderful home has to offer.
