Requirements for Campus-Based Programs
In addition to all application requirements, international applicants must meet specific requirements to be considered for admission at Regis University.
- Credential Evaluation - Submit an official academic, course-by-course evaluation of foreign educational credentials from one of the agencies approved by Regis University. Approved agencies can be found at www.naces.org. Photocopies of the evaluation are not acceptable. Evaluations should be sent to the following address:

- Completed International Student Supplemental application which is part of the online application.
- Copy of current Visa - Legible copies of your Permanent Resident Card or Visa (front and back) are required. It is the applicant’s responsibility to apply for INS if a new visa is needed.
- Copies of all old I-20’s from all current and former U.S. institutions that you have attended (only required for students transferring from another US university/college)
- SEVIS Form – this form needs to be sent to the US university/college that the student attended in the US prior to acceptance to Regis. This form should be returned directly to the Office of Academic Records & Registration (only required for students transferring from another US university/college). Download SEVIS transfer form.
- Submit documentation of financial ability to pay all expenses for the first year (tuition, fees, living expenses) of study at Regis University and demonstrate adequate coverage for health insurance in the United States for issuance of an I-20 by the Office of the Registrar. Submit the Notarized Affidavit of Support form if funding is provided by a sponsor or organization. Download Affidavit of Support form.
- If English is not your native/first language, you must meet the following language proficiency requirement:
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – Internet-based: Minimum score of 82 (24 Writing, 20 Speaking, 22 Reading, 16 Listening) on the TOEFL.
- TOEFL – Computer-based: Minimum score of 213
- Regis University's TOEFL code is 4656.
Requirements for Online Programs
Students completing their coursework entirely online will not be issued an I-20. Regis University does not assist online, certificate, or non-degree seeking students with obtaining a visa.

Non-US citizens are not eligible for financial aid through Regis University.
