Honorable Ownership
Regis believes in academic integrity and honorably recognizing the efforts of each student. Regis' Intellectual Property Policy defines the conditions of ownerships, legal protection, development, and licensing of intellectual properties conceived or first reduced to practice by any employee or student.
Upholding Academic Integrity
In this era of online learning, databanks, learning objects, and video streaming, intellectual property includes much more than books to copyright and new inventions to patent. The new policy on intellectual property defines the respective rights and obligations of faculty, students, and the University in protecting the products of research as well as the many kinds of educational materials created for teaching and learning today.
