Career Services Information

Consistent with the Life Directions Mission, Career Services provides an avenue for students,alumni, staff and faculty to investigate the world of work.

Career Services assists students in identifying their skills, interests and abilities in order to set academic and career goals. They teach students the process of gathering, understanding and using job market information, and work toward increasing student effectiveness in conducting a job search campaign.

Career Services provides listings of current full- and part-time openings and facilitates an on-campus interviewing program which gives students and alumni the opportunity to obtain initial interviews with major organizations through Regis CareerLink

Our Calendar of Events can be viewed when you log into Regis CareerLink. The calendar includes a month by month schedule of upcoming workshops, on-campus interviewing and employer information sessions. After you log on to Regis CareerLink, click on the Interviews and Appointments icon at the top of the page.

Career Services conducts individual advising sessions and seminars on relevant topics such as résumé writing, interviewing skills, networking skills and preparing for graduate school. Current career information is available in the Life Directions Resource Library. A variety of online services, including online workshops further assist students and alumni in job search and career development.

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm -- Monday through Friday. Evening appointments also available.
Closed 10:30 am to noon Tuesdays and 9:00 am to noon every 4th Tuesday.

All Regis students and alumni are served by appointment and during open hours. Open hour times are Wednesdays, 1:00-2:00 pm and Thursdays 4:00-5:30 pm. Please note, Open Résumé Hours are cancelled for holidays.

Contact us for an appointment at the Lowell, Longmont, Aurora, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, DTC or Ft. Collins Campus. Our main office on the Lowell campus is in the Life Directions Center, inside Entrance 1 off Regis Blvd. (50th Ave).

Career Services will be closed on campus holidays and staff training days. For the 2007-2008 academic year, those dates include: Mar. 4 (8:30am-2:00pm), Mar. 21, Apr. 18, May 26, July 4. For the 2008-2009 academic year those dates include: Sept. 1, Nov. 27-28, Dec. 24-25, Dec. 31, Jan. 1, Jan. 19, April 10, May 25.

In addition to holidays, Open Résumé Hours are also canceled for July 4, Nov. 21, and Dec. 26, 2007. Open hours for Thursday, Dec. 6 have been moved to Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
