Regis students seeking to erase the stigma and educate others about mental illness.
Active Minds is a non-profit group based out of Washington D.C. Their goal and ours is to:
Destigmatize mental illness by promoting open, enlightened discussion of mental health issues; and to create a better life for all who suffer. To capitalize on the energy and dedication of young adults in the fight against the stigma that surrounds mental illness, and to educate, enlighten, and empower all young adults to ensure their own mental health before it ever reaches a tragic stage.
Regis University has now opened their own chapter. Our group of students is passionate about this topic and believes that suicide and the mental illnes are important issues to discuss on college campuses. We hope to continue to grow and reach as many people as possible not only through this website but through programs, speakers, and other various events.
