Diversity and diverse perspectives should be an integral part of education. Done well it permeates the entire curriculum in all academic disciplines throughout the year not just during “appropriate” observances. It also means teaching students to think critically about "accepted" social norms and structures. These are skills that students will use throughout their educational careers and lives. Regis University seeks to create a curriculum and pedagogy responsive to a multicultural world and a diverse student body by integrating themes of social justice and diversity as mutually supportive concepts.
