    My interests in philosophy encompass most issues in ethics and related fields, especially responsibility for global poverty (the subject of my dissertation and soon to be published book) and problems of identity, moral reasoning, and responsibility in cases of mental illness or drug addiction. My areas of specialization are normative ethics (ethical theory), applied ethics, and social and political philosophy; my areas of competence are philosophy of law, global justice, feminist philosophy, environmental ethics, narrative ethics, philosophy of mind and action, and free will.
