The Clep and DSST study guides name reference textbooks that were being used at the time the exams were being developed. Appropriate textbooks for study are not limited to those lists. You may reference either the the current edition of the listed titles from the links below, or textbooks currently being used for a college course of the same title. DSST recommends that you reference more than one textbook on the topics outlined in the fact sheet. Begin by checking the textbook content against the content outlined on the first page of the fact sheet. Textbooks can be found at the library, campus bookstores or from a variety of websites that sell new and used textbooks.
You can purchase study guides directly from Clep and DSST by clicking the links at the top of the column. Additional links are listed at the bottom of the page.
Click the exam title to view details about the exam. If you have trouble opening any challenge exam pdf files, please contact The Testing Center and the study guide will be e-mailed to you.
Consult the Official Clep Study-guide for complete information. English Composition is not administered by Regis. For students who have taken it, only the exam with essay is accepted.
Student Recommended: So many student's have recommended this resource, that we decided to include a link to it. For a small fee, you can purchase a very condensed study guide for many of the subjects covered by Clep, DSST and NLN exams. These guides are available at the bookstore, or can be purchased directly from the publisher at Quick Study Academic Charts. These materials are not endorsed by Clep, NLN or DSST.
STUDENTS: Regis only administers the exams listed in the table above. The CLEP and DSST websites have exams on their list that we do not offer, and may not accept for credit. Students should check with their advisor about that, and to determine which testing options fit into their degree plans, and to ensure that they are not duplicating credits awarded.
Regis' students are not required to take the essay portion of the exams in order to receive credit at Regis University. As a result, we do not offer the essay portions of these exams, as noted in the table above.
