Academic Centers - School of Computer and Information Sciences

The Center for Database Research (CDR) creates innovative solutions to the problems of practical, large-scale, and high-quality software-intensive systems. Our primary focus is on database and information systems research. This includes database technologies, database management systems and related domains.

The Colorado Front Range Center for Information Assurance Studies (CIAS) provides Colorado citizens, businesses and government’s access to the latest information, research and education to better protect their systems, data and applications. We accomplish our mission through active participation in the community through hosted events that educate and inform. We provide Regis faculty as speakers at small, medium, business gatherings. We educate the next generation of business leaders, community members and citizens.

Regis University was designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAE) on June 4, 2007. The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) jointly announce the designation of the following universities as National Centers of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education for academic years 2007 through 2012.
