Regis University, Denver in partnership with the National University of Ireland, Galway, has developed a new and innovative M.Sc in Software Engineering and Database Technologies. This programme is jointly delivered by both Universities, through the medium of online learning and draws on the strengths and expertise of both institutions within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) area.
Given the pace of change in the techniques and technologies used within the ICT industry, employee skills quickly become dated. This masters degree aims to provide students with the necessary professional skills, conceptual frameworks, methods, technologies and hands-on experience of software development as a basis for a career in the IT industry. The programme also includes specialised knowledge of specific IT topics and provides students with an opportunity to develop advanced research and/or development skills.
