Emphasis in Operations Management

This program examines the changing roles of the operations manager in an environment of technological innovations and organizational change. A variety of operations methods and theories are discussed; these topics include change, relevance, and timeliness.

  • MBAC 600 - The Economics of Management (3)
  • MBAC 601 - Ethical and Legal Environment of Business (3)
Emphasis Requirements (6 semester hours)
  • MBAO 602 - Production and Operations Management (3)
  • MBAF 602 - Financial Decision Making (3)
Operations Management Electives (9 semester hours)
  • Three elective courses selected from the remaining MBAO 600 level Operations Management elective courses.
Electives (6 semester hours)
  • Two elective courses selected from the remaining MBA 600 level courses.
Capstone Course (3 semester hours)
  • MBAC 695 - Strategies in a Global Environment (3)
