The Regis Chapter of AAUP sponsors a Speaker Series featuring Regis faculty, librarians and invited guests. The AAUP also co-sponsors with Dayton Memorial Library book signing events for Regis faculty. Please join us in celebrating the good work of Regis faculty!

The Regis Chapter of AAUP has two funds supporting students. First is the Student Assistance Fund. This fund is designed to aid students with emergency short-term financial needs. The guidelines may be found at the following link: Student Assistance Fund Guidelines. The second is the Student Travel Grant Fund. This is designed to supplement other sources of funding to help send students to academic conferences. The guidelines for this fund may be found here: Student Travel Grant Guidelines.

The AAUP is a national network of college and university professors that is organized to advance academic freedom and shared governance, to define fundamental professional values and standards for higher education, and to ensure higher education's contribution to the common good.

The national AAUP web site, AAUP.org, contains a great deal of valuable information about AAUP publications, national conferences and membership, as well as news about topics relating to higher education.

The Regis University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors provides the faculty a unified voice for communicating the views of the faculty to the administration, as well as the general public. The Regis Chapter defends academic freedom at Regis University, encourages faculty participation in the governance of the university, and attempts to advance the professional status and interests of all faculty.
