Our Mission

To explore, select and implement the most effective ways to assist adult students in the learning process through a curriculum marked by quality, rigor, currency, and relevance to the contemporary world, enabling students to become leaders in the service of others.

To accomplish this, the department develops curriculum, and selects and trains as faculty competent, well-educated, working professionals who share the goals of the department.

The curriculum will foster in students a high level of skill in written and oral communications, the ability to think critically and analytically, a well-developed ethical sense, a sensitivity to and appreciation of diversity, and the desire and ability to be a lifelong learner using traditional learning methods, as well as the most current technology.
