Residence Housing for Students with Disabilities

Students requesting single-room housing accommodations due to any physical, psychological, or health disability/impairment may make their requests through the Office of Residence Life, Housing and Event Services. Students must submit their housing application and contract for a single-room request to: The Office of Residence Life, Housing and Event Serives Regis University 3333 Regis Blvd Denver, CO 80221

Requests for single-room housing are then forwarded to the Office of Disability Services (ODS)where ODS will notify students of specific documentation requirements based on their disability. ODS will determine the appropriateness of the documentation and contact students to the status of the documentation.

  • Full and complete documentation must be received by ODS by the request due date of each year to be considered for review by the committee. Incomplete documentation will not be considered for review after the due date
  • Single room assignments are determined on complete documentation, the severity of the condition, and the availability of single rooms for the given year
  • A committee consisting of a representative each from Student Health Services, Counseling and Personal Development, Residence Life, Housing and Event Services and the Office of Disability Services, will review documentation to determine priority need for single room housing
  • Once a determination is made for single room housing selection, all students who submitted documentation will be notified

Regis University reserves the right to determine the adequacy of the documentation provided and the right to require additional or other information as determined necessary by Regis to complete its consideration of the request.
