Trip Descriptions

Bouldering Competition

We will be having a bouldering competition at the bouldering wall in the Coors Life Fitness Center, October 30th and February 5th. The October event will will have a Halloween theme, free food, and $300 in prizes for competitiors and spectators.

Bouldering Contest

Family Weekend Bike Ride

Students and Family members are welcome to come on this casual bike ride through Denver on the Cherry Creek Bike path. The ride will start around the Cherry Creek Mall and end up at Confluence Park by REI where lunch will be waiting for the participants. Bikes rentals will be available for those without bikes. Mt. Yale/ Mt. Shavano- Cottonwood Hotsprings

This backpacking trip will kick off the school year just as the 14er season is coming to a close. The plan is to have one group summit Mt. Yale and one group summit Mt. Shavano. Check out Fall Break

OAP is going back to our traditional Moab Fall Break Trip. We will spend a day hiking through Arches National Park enjoying the wonderful views of Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, Double O Arch, and many more. We will also spend a day Rock Climbing at Moab's Wall Street, and Mountain Biking the Klondike Bluffs Trail.
Cost: $75

Great Sand Dunes National Monument

One word to sum up this trip: Sand. Students will experience all the sand on this weekend backpacking trip at the base of the Sange de Cristo Mountains in the San Luis Valley.
