System Recommendations
If you have a computer that is two years old, you probably meet most of the system recommendations stated below. If you are unsure that your current computer meets these system recommendations, please contact the Office of Admissions at healthcare@regis.edu or the Information Technology Services Help Center at its@regis.edu.
Below are hardware and software recommendation per Regis University's office of Information Technology Services. Students are responsible for having the recommended hardware and software prior to course start date.
Hardware
- 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
- 2.0Gb of System Memory or higher (1Gb minimum supported)
- 80Gb of Hard Disk space or larger
- DVD-ROM Drive
- Super VGA Monitor (minimum resolution of 1024 x 768)
- 256Mb Video Card or higher
- Sound Card
- Integrated Network Card (WiFi)
- Keyboard and Mouse
- Speakers (optional)
Software
- Supported Operating Systems:
- Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Office Suite 2007
- Microsoft Office Suite 2003
- Anti-Virus Software (select one from below)
- Anti-Spyware (update regularly)
- Adobe Reader
- Flash Player
- Power Point Viewer
- Word Viewer
- WinZip
- Multimedia Players
- Web Browsers
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (currently version 8.0 is not supported)
- Mozilla 2.0 or higher
- Note: IE 8.0, Netscape, Opera, and Safari are not supported browsers.
- Internet Connectivity
Reliable Internet access is required. A high-bandwidth broadband connection like DSL or Cable is recommended.
