What are the parking enforcement hours?
Paid on-campus parking is enforced from Monday at 6 a.m. through Friday at 4 p.m. Street parking is subject to local and state regulations enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What happens after hours of enforcement?
Overnight parking is only allowed in Lots 5 (by permit only) and 7. Illegal overnight parking is enforced between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
Will purchasing a permit guarantee me a parking space?
Lot 5 Residential Parking Permits guarantee residential students a parking space in Lot 5. The Boryla Residential Permit guarantees a space in the Boryla garage. Academic Year, Semester, Payroll Deduct and Affiliate/Faculty Permits are valid parking in all lots expect Lot 5. There is no space guarantee in a particular lot.
Are there assigned locations for faculty, staff and students to park?
Lot 5 and the Boryla parking garage are the only assigned parking lots. These lots are reserved for residential students with a Lot 5 Residential Permit or a Boryla Residential Permit. Commuter students, staff and faculty can park in all other lots.
Can I store my vehicle on campus over break?
Yes, but you MUST notify Parking Services prior to the start of break.
How do I purchase a permit?
Faculty, staff and students can purchase permits online at ruparking.regis.edu.
Will I need a login and password?
Yes. Regis community members will use their regis.net account credentials to gain access to RUParking.
How can I find my Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?
A vehicle’s VIN is typically located on the driver's side of the dash, visible through the front windshield; on the inside of either door; on your registration and insurance documents.
How will I pay for a permit?

What happens if I sell my car?
If you purchase a permit, you are responsible to the management of your parking account through the ruparking.regis.edu
parking portal. Update your account first with your temporary plate number and then your permanent license number. Also remove any vehicles that are no longer in use.
If you have a loaner or rental vehicle, you may update it on your permit. If the loaner or rental vehicle will only be for a few days, call 303.458.4126 to put a short term flag on your vehicle to avoid any citations.
I have multiple vehicles. Do I need to purchase a permit for each of them?
You may register multiple vehicles under a single permit, however, only one vehicle may be on campus at a time. Vehicles registered to a single permit parked simultaneously will be issued a parking citation. If you need to have more than one vehicle on campus at a single time, the additional vehicles must be paid for as visiting vehicles.
What if I do not have a RegisNet account because I’m a contractor or a vendor?

Do I have to pay to park in a handicap space on campus if I have a disability placard?
The possession of a valid ADA placard does not exempt someone from being charged for parking. Additionally, the disabled parking permit must be in the name of the person who is parking on campus.
If I carpool with someone and we take turns driving, do we both get a discounted rate for our permits?
There is no carpool discount. The primary permit owner is responsible for all citations received.
Can I get a refund if I choose to cancel my parking permit?
There are no refunds on parking permits. Please consider the best permit for your schedule.
Is there a parking shuttle?
There is a shuttle on the Northwest Denver Campus. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the exception of campus closures, holidays and breaks. There is no shuttle service during the summer semester or Christmas break. Pick up and drop off locations are in front of Clarke Hall, Lot 5 South near O’Connell Hall, the north and south ends of Lot 5 North and Lot 6 next to the soccer field.
After-hours parking (1-6 a.m.)
Vehicles parked between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., Mon-Thurs, must have a valid permit. After-hour parking (overnight) is only available in Lot 5 and Lot 7. If space is not available in Lot 5 or 7 please park in available space and contact Campus Safety at 303.458.4122 with the make, model and license plate and the location of your vehicle.
Organized Special Events
Departments needing parking for special events or guests should make arrangements with Event Services at least a week before the date of the event. Please be prepared to give the office information about the event and its location.
Disabled Parking Policies/Parking for Permanent Medical Disabilities
Disabled parking policies/parking for permanent medical disabilities: All faculty, staff and students who are in possession of a valid, state-issued disabled parking permit/plate must present it to the Office of Parking and Transportation. This disabled parking permit must be in the name of the person that is parking on campus. It cannot be issued to a relative, family member or friend. Citations will be promptly issued for all related violations.
Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays and breaks. Pick up and drop off locations are in front of and South, Clarke Hall, North end of Lot 5, and Lot 6 next to the soccer field.
Visitors and vendors must register and pay for parking starting Monday at 6 a.m. until Friday at 4 p.m.
