The Regis University Technology Training Center offers training programs that increase the Regis University community’s understanding and use of technology. These programs provide, refresh, and promote core technology skills that enhance productivity and effectiveness at Regis University.

The Regis University Technology Training Center offers free training programs, both face-to-face and online, for faculty, staff and students. We want to meet the training needs of busy adults and students, reach users of all skill levels, and remove the intimidation of learning new technology.

Formats include:

Just-in-Time learning – quick reference guides, tutorials, videos on demand.
Workshops – hands-on, "show me how" step-by-step lessons in a computer lab within an hour.
Online – the Regis Learns site (http://regislearns.regis.edu), self-paced tutorials and links to other training resources.

Advanced PowerPoint Skills  

You've got the basics covered, but let's go further into designing master templates, original graphics and transitions. Explore these robust features, shortcuts, and more in our newest 60-minute workshop. 

Beginning Excel

Learn how to accomplish these tasks by the end of the lesson: Enter text and numbers into an Excel worksheet; use AutoFill; format cells to display text and numbers effectively; perform basic calculations; use AutoSum; print a workbook. 

Best Practices for Presentations 
Regis faculty, staff and students all use PowerPoint for presentations. This is a workshop that offers good advice on designing strong presentation templates, use of color and images, and tips for leaving a good impression on your audience. 

Learn How to Create a Strong Password and Other Security Awareness Tips 
Learn the latest tips to understand the mechanisms of spam, phishing, malware and other online dangers, and apply this knowledge to your daily life.

Office 365/OneDrive 

Office 365 (sometimes referred to O365) is Regis University's Online Microsoft Suite. OneDrive for Business is part of Office 365, it is similar to Dropbox. Learn about accessing the Office Web Apps. Office 365 is easy to use, and allows you to work on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files using a web browser and saving them in the cloud. No software download is necessary.

Outlook Tips and Tricks  

This workshop offers different ways to become more comfortable with Outlook and its many features. You will learn how to create folders to organize information, how to filter information, and how to handle junk mail. You will also learn different calendar functions that may be useful to you, such as color coding your appointments, setting reminders, and managing multiple calendars.  


Zoom is a video conferencing and web conferencing tool. Learn about this easy-to-use tool. A microphone and computer are the minimum tools you need but you may also use a webcam as well.

You will find online tutorials for a variety of topics including Office 365/OneDrive, Quick Reference Guides, and Classroom Technology tutorials for every classroom and conference room on every campus, and more.
