Building Community in the First Year: DeSmet Hall at a Glance
DeSmet Hall was named for Father Pierre DeSmet, S.J., a Jesuit missionary known for developing strong ties with many American Indian tribes in the mid-19th century. This four-story residence hall is close to the Fitness center, Field House, Pomponio Family Science Center and the Dayton Memorial Library. Residence enjoy the Justice in Action Community.
Building Community in the First Year: O'Connell Hall at a Glance
O’Connell Hall is a three-story residence hall close to Main Hall, Claver Hall, the O’Sullivan Art Gallery, the Copy and Print Center and the University Mail Room. Residents enjoy the C.O.R.E. Living Learning Community, specifically created for students passionate about the outdoors.
Building Community in the Suites: West Hall at a Glance
West Hall is a three-story residence hall with close access to the Student Center, Main Café, the St. John Francis Regis Chapel and Main Hall. It is most noticeable for its comfortable suite-style living, allowing four residents to share a private bathroom and shower conjoining two double-occupancy rooms. The hall also a 24-hour kitchen facility available to residents.
Building Community in the Townhomes: Residence Village at a Glance
The Residence Village, Regis’ newest on campus housing facility, is comprised of four buildings providing a neighborhood feeling nestled right into campus. The Residence Village is near the O’Sullivan Art Gallery, playing fields, Clarke Hall, the Mail Room and the Field House. Residents enjoy units of three large bedrooms, two or two and a half bathrooms, a private washer-dryer, a full kitchen and a furnished living room.
Becoming Engaged Citizens Ignatian Village Community Living
Named for St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, the Ignatian Village is an off campus housing option for students who want to extend the Jesuit principle of serving others to their home lives. Residents aim to continue to develop social awareness, professional aspirations and leadership skills. Ignatian Village is comprised of two Living Learning Communities: Ignatian Leadership and Healthcare Professions. Both communities require additional involvement beyond occasional programming and investment of a few hours each week connecting with housemates and working on community goals.
New in 2018: Modern apartment living right here in Regis
Finished in 2018, the Vince J. Boryla Apartments are a 29-unit development just one block south of campus. These independent, modern and contemporary apartments offer an urban feel with a neighborhood vibe.
