What is Living on Campus Like?
Living on campus is a growing experience for many college students. Regis University's Residence Life provides you with the support and resources needed to engage with fellow students and to make the most of living on campus.
Residence Life manages four on-campus student housing facilities: the Residence Village, DeSmet Hall, O'Connell Hall and West Hall. It also manages off-campus housing options at Ignatian Village and Boryla Apartments. In doing so, they staff and maintain the buildings as well as assist the residents of the buildings.
During the academic year, each residence hall is staffed by a Residence Life Coordinator (professional staff member), a senior staff member, and many Resident Assistants and Peer Ministers. These staff members collaborate in their work to ensure and promote the quality of community life in the hall through educational programming, career development, spiritual guidance, social activities and advising.
Each residential room is fully furnished and all units include internet access. The residential facilities are co-ed by wing, suite, townhome, or floor. All of the residence halls feature 24-hour computer labs, free laundry, and community lounges with expanded basic cable television.
First-year students live primarily in either O'Connell Hall or DeSmet Hall and limited West Hall units, while upperclass students (sophomores, juniors and seniors) are eligible to live in West Hall, Ignatian Village, and Residence Village. Please see Student Housing for more information on the amenities of each building.
In the spirit of Cura Personalis, we embody the missions of the University and Student Affairs by providing a safe and inclusive residential community that facilitates learning and holistic development.
