University Research and Scholarship Council (URSC) The mission of the Regis URSC is to promote and support scholarly research and creative efforts within Regis University. To accomplish this, the URSC aims to fund faculty and student projects that will contribute to the body of human knowledge and enrich the educational experience. All proposals must be scholarly and constitute an endeavor that advances human knowledge by investigating a problem in a manner that demonstrates in-depth understanding of the context in which the endeavor occurs. The URSC supports a wide range of activities and recognizes that research and scholarship vary among disciplines. URSC activities are currently funded by Regis University through the Office of the Provost with liaison to administration via the Center for Scholarship and Research Engagement. All research is subject to appropriate approvals from pertinent federal, state, local and University groups. As part of its mission to promote research, scholarly and creative activities within the Regis University community, the URSC sponsors three award programs: Faculty Research and Scholarship Grants (FRSG) Student Research and Scholarship Grants (SRSG) Student Travel Grants (STG) Final Report PowerPoint Presentation Templates URSC Members Name College/Department Caniglia, Elizabeth CBE Cates, Jennifer RHCHP – Counseling & Family Therapy Malarkey, Christopher RHCHP – Pharmacy McCallum, Colleen RHCHP – Nursing McGovern, Martin CCLS Miller, Amanda RHCHP – Psychology and Neuroscience Ortega, Anthony Regis College – Fine and Performing Arts Pyatt, Kevin CC&IS Schneider, Abigail (Vice Chair) CBE Schreier, Amy (Chair) Regis College – Biology Smith, Karen RHCHP – Pharmacy CBE – College of Business and Economics │ CC&IS – College of Computer & Information Sciences │ CCLS – College of Contemporary Liberal Studies RHCHP – Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Care Professions Questions? Dr. Goodwin performed her comic solo show, "You are Reminded That Your Safety Is Your Own Responsibility." Since the show is traveling show, we did not record the performance. However, we encourage you attend one of her performances.
