The graduate academic certificate represents a selection of courses from the Master of Science programs. These courses could eventually be included in a CCIS graduate student's program of study or stand alone as courses beyond the degree requirements. Certificates may also be completed as an add-on to a full degree program.
How to Apply
We recommend applying at least one month in advance of your desired start date to ensure adequate processing time and optimize class availability options. However, completed applications will be considered up to two weeks prior to the start date.

Three or more years of relevant work experience OR a bachelor's degree within the past two years in a relevant computer information sciences field is required. Applicants who possess a baccalaureate degree must be either from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or a recognized institution in another nation equivalent to a U.S. regionally accredited bachelor's degree.*
A minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is recommended.*
*Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 and/or those applicants who do not meet the work experience requirement will be considered on an individual basis and will be required to take one 500-level foundational course (3 credits) prior to beginning their 600-level graduate program coursework. A grade of “B” or better must be achieved in the 500-level foundational course to continue progressing through the 600-level graduate program coursework.
