The Regis University Center for Information Assurance Studies (CIAS) is located in Denver, CO at the campus of Regis University, a Jesuit university. Regis University's mission is to serve others. The CIAS maintains a portal for Colorado citizens, business and government to obtain Information Assurance information, research, and education. We accomplish this mission through active participation in the community through hosted events that educate and inform.
We provide Regis faculty as speakers at Small to Medium sized Business and non/not for profit gatherings. Our goal is to educate the next generation of CyberSecurity professionals.

The 2017 Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (RMCCDC) was run at the DTC campus 10-12 of March, 2017. 6380 S Fiddlers Green Cir, Greenwood Village CO. Ten collegiate teams from the Rocky Mountain region competed in a business orientated cyber defense challenge to represent us at the National CCDC in San Antonio. Congratulations to BYU who repeated as RMCCDC champions finishing in third place this year.
Cybergirlz a joint venture with Cyberwatch West, ISACA, ISSA and Regis University will be hosted at the Northwest Campus in fall 2017. Potential coaches, interested parents and of course Cybergirlz are invited to attend the 9am-3pm event. The young women will participate in a variety of exercises, table top sharing sessions with working cybersecurity women, capture the flag exercise, ethical decision making, stop bullying exercises and keynote by Ms. Debbi Blyth, CISO State of Colorado. At the same time and in the same building parent and coach information sessions will be conducted by experienced Cyber Patriot coaches, industry professionals and past members of successful Colorado Cyber Patriot teams.
