Each Residence Village unit comprises of three bedrooms, two (or two and a half) baths, a private washer-dryer, a full kitchen, and a furnished living room. Each bedroom accommodates two advisors and includes two desks, two beds, two closets, and two dressers. Students will stay in West Hall and Desmet Hall West Hall: West hall is a suite style residence hall. Each suite can accommodate up to four participants and includes two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Community lounges are located on each wing and a computer lab is located on the 3rd floor for general use. Desmet Hall: Desmet Hall is a traditional residence hall with community bathrooms. Each room accommodates two participants. There are community lounges on each wing and a computer lab located on the third floor. Internet Service: There is free WiFi available in every residence hall and building on campus. Each residence hall room includes two Ethernet ports. To access the internet follow the steps below: For an apple product: 1. Select the “RegisNET-Internet-Access” option from the Wifi menu 2. If a window pops up then follow the steps to log in as a guest 3. If a window does not pop up then open your preferred internet browser and open “Regis.edu” 4. From here follow the steps to log in as a guest ***If you are on a computer you will need to download our safe connect software and you can delete it as soon as you leave the conference For an android/PC phone: 1. Select the “RegisNET-Internet-Access” option from the Wifi menu 2. Open your preferred internet browser and open “Regis.edu” ***Your phone may require that you download the safe connect software 3. From here follow the steps to log in as a guest For any computer or tablet that is not apple: 1. Select the “RegisNET-Internet-Access” option from the Wifi menu 2. You will have to download the safe connect software before you can log in as guest, so make sure to download this 3. You may need to restart your browser to log into the internet 4. From here follow the steps to log in as a guest For problems, please call out IT Help Desk at 303.458.4050. Laundry: There are complimentary laundry facilities located in each residence hall. Laundry detergent is not provided. Fitness Center: Free access to the fitness center will be available during the conference. This is located in the Coors Life Directions Center, close to DeSmet Hall. The summer hours for the fitness center are Monday-Friday: 6am – 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday: Closed. Line 52 make stops at Union Station which can transfer you to virtually anywhere in Denver, making the city easy and affordable to explore. PARKING INFORMATION Anyone parking on campus during the conference will need to park in Lot 5. Parking Lot 5 is also the only lot where overnight parking is allowed. Parking in any other lot will result in a ticket unless otherwise approved. To get to lot 5: Turn into entrance 1 off of 50th Avenue and continue down Regis Way past Lot 1 until you end up in the farthest lot back. Please see map for location. HOSPITALITY SUITE The Hospitality Suite is conveniently located in the Faculty Lounge in the Student Center. The NJSLC Planning Staff can help you with many of your needs, including how to find the nearest shopping centers, restaurants, and tourist attractions. If possible, we ask that you please bring all administrative questions to the attention of the NJSLC Staff during normal hours. The Hospitality Suite will open every day from 7:30am-5:00pm. For any after hour questions or concerns, please contact Customer Service at 303.981.3870. NAME BADGES When you check in, you will receive your NJSLC name badge. Please keep this name badge with you at all times as a means of identifying yourself as an NJSLC delegate. Your name badge allows you access into the dining hall and the Fitness Center. LOST KEYS/CARD ACCESS Upon check-in, you will be provided with a key to access your building and your individual bedroom. Return your room key at the end of your stay to avoid a $50 lost key fee. CHECKOUT PROCEDURES All conference attendees are required to check out of the residence halls by noon on Sunday, July 31. Check-out in the main lobby of the residence halls will be available between 7:00 a.m. - noon. Please let the NJSLC team know in advance if your delegation will require check-out time outside of this time block. Damage to rooms and any excess cleaning fee will be billed at the university rate to delegate or advisor. Please leave all provided linens in the room when you depart. Please dispose of all trash in their respective dumpsters behind the buildings. Recycle and compost whenever possible! RECYCLING AND COMPOST Since Regis has a strong commitment to sustainability, we ask that NJSLC delegates and advisors carefully consider items before discarding of them. There are recycling and compost stations throughout campus so please ask an NJSLC planning committee member or volunteer if you are unsure as to where to discard of an item. LOCKED OUT? Residents who are locked out of their room will need to contact the Summer Staff Member on duty at 303.981.3870. During business hours (7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), residents can go to the Hospitality Suite for assistance. For any after hour assistance, please contact Customer Service at 303.981.3870. BANKING There is a BVAA Compass automatic teller machine located on the first floor of the Student Center and the First Floor of Main Hall. There is a surcharge of $4.00 on all transactions. FITNESS CENTER Our fitness facility has great stationary bikes, treadmills, and even a bouldering wall. Stop by or visit them online to learn of classes offered throughout the week. Location: South of DeSmet Hall in the southeast corner of campus Summer Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Closed *Fitness Center will be free for NJSLC attendees. BOOKSTORE Regis University’s bookstore, Book & Bean, located on the first floor of the Student Center, offers a full range of merchandise, including school supplies, greeting cards, Regis memorabilia, gifts, clothing, and souvenirs. Summer hours for the bookstore are from Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Thank you for staying in our facilities, we hoped you enjoyed your time here. Here are 3 steps to follow in order to check-out properly: 1. Remove all personal belongings and trash from the rooms. We will not be held responsible for any items left behind in the rooms. Please leave all provided linens in the room when you depart. Trash and recycling goes to their respective dumpsters behind the buildings. Recycle and compost whenever possible. There is a $25-$50 fee for any trash left behind. ***Damage to rooms and any excess cleaning fee will be billed at the university rate to delegate or advisor. 2. Please go to the front desk of the residence halls that you are staying in if you have questions about check out. 3. Return room keys and meal cards to the front desk of the building by 12:00pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016. There is a $50 fee for lost or damaged keys charged to the delegate or advisor.
